HIGHLIGHT INFO

Vernon Township High School enrolls more than 950 students offering them over 15 AP courses and program sequence studies in Business, Fine and Performing Arts, Hospitality, Allied Health, and Career and Technical Education (CTE). Vernon also partners with several schools like Temple University so that students can enroll college level courses while attending high school.

FACILITIES
Vernon Township High School has a Black Box Theater, State of the Art Auditorium, Music Production Room, Cosmetology Lab, World Language Lab, Robotics Lab, Engineering Room with fabrication lab, and an Allied Health simulated emergency room. They are currently updating their stadium’s synthetic turf and track.

SPORTS AND ARTS
With over 28 athletic teams at Vernon, international students can choose the sports that interest them. The Skiing, Ice Hockey, and Track teams have taken home several recent awards. In 2021 the Boys Ski Team captured the State Championship and the Boys Ice Hockey Team celebrated their fifth straight Sussex Cup win.
Vernon has a rich performing and visual arts program with over 20 after school clubs dedicated to the arts. Students can take part in band, art, drama production, magazine production and more.
