St. Dominic’s College is a traditional Catholic girls’ school located in the Cabra area of Dublin, just a stone’s throw from the famous Phoenix Park.
The school prides itself on a strong sense of community, believing that when students are happy their academic work, friendships and extra-curricular hobbies all fall into place. Great importance is therefore placed on the wellbeing of students and a strong pastoral care structure is in place including a care team and three Guidance Counsellors, ensuring there is always someone for students to talk to. St. Dominic’s College students are supported by highly qualified teachers who provide a very high standard of teaching and encourage the girls to achieve their best through hard work and dedication.
A range of sports are facilitated after school from Monday-Friday and students are encouraged to form leadership teams to run whole-school events and chair the Student Council. The Eco Team is a group of students who dedicate themselves to improving the school environment through recycling, planting flowers on the school grounds and educating students and staff on environmental issues.
