Maine Central Institute’s campus includes a state-of-the-art Math and Science Center, two computer classrooms, a chemistry lab, a botany area, and recently renovated art facilities. Maine Central Institute’s sports facilities includes gymnasiums, weightlifting equipment, sports fields, a golf course, a track, and tennis courts.
SPORTS AND ARTS
MCI’s impressive athletic record includes three football state championships and two field hockey state championships. Three NBA All-Stars have graduated from MCI.
Over 25% of students participate in drama or art competitions each year. The Bossov Ballet Theater at MCI is both a performing company and an internationally renowned pre-professional ballet school.
DORMITORIES AND STUDENT LIFE
Maine Central Institute’s four dormitories include two boys dorms, a girls dorm, and an honors dorm. Each building has laundry and student lounges. In addition to the 17 competitive sports teams, students have 40 clubs and activities to choose from throughout the school year.
