HIGHLIGHT INFO

Mt. Lebanon High School is a US secondary school with about 1,820 students. Recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School, it was rated one of the Top 500 high schools in the US by Newsweek and rated first in Western Pennsylvania by the Pittsburgh Business Times.

FACILITIES
The 26-acre campus has a 100,000 volume library, a fine arts complex with two theaters, visual arts studios, a professional dance studio, music studios, a full production TV studio, science/computer/writing labs, three full-size gyms, an indoor swimming pool, and a 7,200-seat stadium with a football field and track.

SPORTS AND ARTS
International students have the opportunity to join more than 26 interscholastic championship sports teams.
Mt. Lebanon also has an extensive arts program with classes like music technology and technical theater.

AWARDS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Mt. Lebanon has received an award for #1 Traditional (non-magnet/non-charter) Public High School by Pennsylvania School Performance Profile and #5 Digital School Districts Nationwide from the Center for Digital Education & National School Boards Association.

COMMUNITY INFORMATION
Pittsburgh, the second largest city in Pennsylvania, is a vibrant city that offers a diverse mix of activities including museums, outdoor parks with hiking trails, and professional sports teams. They are also the home to the famous Carnegie Mellon University. Nearby, international students will have access to whitewater rafting and ski resorts that are within driving distance from the city.
