Founded in 1995, Braemar College is a private secondary school located in the heart of Toronto. Braemar College places emphasis on providing practical academic skills with courses including: Financial Management, Leadership Studies, Computer Science, along with other core courses. Braemar students also have the opportunity to take part in clubs and activities to strengthen their academic studies based off their interests.
FACILITIES
Braemar College is located in the center of Toronto, right next to the University of Toronto - St. George campus. Facilities on the Braemar campus include spacious classrooms, two large lunchrooms, and a computer science lab with high-speed internet.
SPORTS AND ARTS
While no organized sports teams are available directly at Braemar College, there are “Sports Nights” which occur 1-2 nights per week where organized sports like Basketball or Soccer are offered. Braemar also have athletic-related clubs like the Running Club.
Braemar has a long tradition of excellence in the Arts. Students use the latest technology to create videos or design the yearbook on the design team. Braemar students are also within a 15 minute walk of the Royal Conservatory of Music and the Art Gallery of Toronto.
